How many of us just give the teabag a quick whisk around in the mug, and then swig it? I know I'm guilty of it! Nothing wrong with that, of course, but I think I'll start doing this at the start of the day as a chance to wake my senses up - turning the morning cuppa into a little meditation ritual.

What do you all think?

I tend to drink tea in the morning before work (and stick to water while I'm working), and when I'm in a rush I do get a bit careless with the brewing. If I didn't have such a hard time waking up in the mornings I think this would be perfect for me. Actually, I might make this an evening ritual. This seems like it could be a perfect way to wind down after a long day.

That is the most enticing mindfulness exercise I've ever come across. I may actually try this!

I was amused by his comment about people only seeping their tea for 13 seconds. At work I have a habit of over-seeping because I get distracted.
