Introduction
Apr. 29th, 2012 11:55 amHi, I'm jame and I like tea. In winter I like black tea in the afternoons (usually something smoky like lapsang souchong or russian caravan). I drink green tea and jasmine tea all year round and I like white tea for special occasions. Lately, given that it's going into winter I've actually taken to having a herbal infusion at night. Warming AND no caffeine.
I drink all of my tea without milk as I'm allergic and I have it medium strength. I love my teapot. It's a cheap teapot but it is MILES better than expensive ones I own. It has a mesh bucket so you don't have to strain, and it's glass so you know how strong the tea is. I also like drinking my tea from a bone china cup and saucer.
Mostly, I buy my tea from T2, a specialty tea shop here in Australia. My biggest problem is that I have too many, and then they aren't labelled properly so I end up with a bit of pot luck sometimes.
Nice to meet you all!

Date: 2012-04-29 11:06 am (UTC)It's a delicate, straw-like, almost mushroomy flavour. I drink it just plain.
I've found other sources for Silver Needles, but I buy it at T2, because I can get it there regularly and I know theirs is good.
